A bit about me...

My name is Célèste. I'm a 20-something living in the lovely midwest with an awesome husband, Ryan, and the cuddliest of all cats, August. His full, Roman name is Augustus Publius Felinicus, which means revered one of the cat people, but we mostly call him Auggie.

I created this blog as a way to share my personal style and my personal evolution as an artist, craftress, photographer, foodie, and all-around aesthete. I hope that, by sharing some of my creative life, I help inspire yours.

A few random facts about me

I have two weird phobias: making phone calls, and cold pizza. I also have a few normal ones, like sharks and clowns.

I love learning new things. My husband and I study French together.

I have time/space synesthesia, which is like a really mundane superpower that doesn't help you fight crime... like, at all. Also it makes looking at calendars frustrating because the rest of the world thinks that the week starts on Sunday, but my brain insists otherwise.

I majored in poetry, which means I now work in retail.

I collect teapots and editions of Alice in Wonderland.

I am a huge book-signings slut. That is, I go to them all the time; I don't sleep with them. (Though, if you could sleep with a book-signing, I probably would.)
