My Home Tour: the bedroom

01/13 Home Tour: Bedroom
Each day this week I'm posting another room as part of a full home tour. See the others herehere & here.

This is the smaller of the two bedrooms, but we use the larger one as my closet/sewing room/library. I know that sounds bad, but it really was a mutual decision. All my clothes and books needed somewhere to live and we wanted the room we slept in to be simple and peaceful without any clutter or distractions.

Albeit, ideally there would be enough room to open the door fully, but, again, that's apartment living! We're used to it and we're pretty good at making the most of the space we have.

In fact, the bedroom is so small that Ryan's dresser, the chest, and the bed could not fit into this room in any other arrangement! Believe me, we tried everything else. I really wanted a headboard and I was determined that our bed would go somewhere other than under the window. But we just could. not. fit. it. anywhere. else.
