I love pastels for spring. I can't remember the last time I was as excited about a trend. I've always been a big-time pastel person. As a kid, I loved easter because I usually got to pick out a new pastel dress to wear. Also, you may remember me gushing about this Philispohy di Alberta Ferretti collection last year in all its pastel glory.
However, one thing I'm a big fan of, that I haven't seen much, is paring pastels with black and white. The soft colors against the sharp contrast is just so nice, don't you think?
So, I layered my new BDG jeans with an old sweater and some black and white classics: vintage saddle oxfords and a striped tank from the Gap. Also, note the black and white pendant I made. It's a reference to Amélie.
Mint green cigarette jeans - BDG, Urban Outfitters
Black and white striped tank - Gap (last seen here)
Sparkly lavender v-neck sweater - thrifted
Amélie pendant - DIY
Those mint green pants are amazing! I love the colour and the casual comfy look of this outfit.
