Yesterday was what my mom and I call Jack Day, her deceased father's birthday that we like to celebrate by thinking of him and making fudge the old fashioned way like he used to. We haven't celebrated properly since I was a kid, but a year still never passes that I don't remember to think of him.
Last night, Ryan and I drove up to Dayton to perform at Wiley's Comedy Club (Ohio's oldest), which was a blast. Today I'm going to be making some fall treats for my writing group. Probably pumpkin whoopie pies, possibly caramel apple bites, or maybe even pumpkin fudge as a little nod to Granddaddy. We'll see. I'll post pictures for you guys for sure.
Anyway, here's what I wore last night . . .
Peplum Cardigan with crocheted cherry zipper pull - a mystery (Wow, this never happens, but I can't remember accurately where this darned thing came from)
Daisy print top - H&M
'70s-inspired jeans - Twenty8Twelve - The Outnet
Ruffled T-straps - Madden Girl, DSW
Decorative birdcage - Thrifted
LOVE the birdcage and nice pants...great color and style!
