A little while back, at the fall equinox in fact, some of my most creative and wild female friends and I orchestrated a celebration honor the three faces of the goddess (maiden, mother and crone) and celebrating the goddess in each of us. I can't give away our circle's secrets, but I do want to share some of the photos I took that night in the interested of letting you in on some of the beauty of that enchanted evening.
Preparations . . .
[The crowns my mom and friend Barb made]
[The poems I selected to read]
[My mom measuring chopped pistachios for cookies]
[There were baskets of ribbon and things to decorate the crowns: white for maiden, red for mother, and purple for crone.]
Atmosphere . . .
Nice pics, it seems such an interesting celebration.
