DIY Panties

According to the poll results I've seen so far, most of you want to see more DIY on this blog, so I'm making an effort to share DIY ideas more.

A while back I got this great book, Generation T, which is all about t-shirt altering, and I became obsessed with the art. I decided that I would make panties of of some cute graphic t-shirts, but I didn't do the best job making my pattern, so they ended up being just a little bunchy. Still, it was a blast to make them, even if I didn't wear them much. They were red and had the olympic rings and "USA" on the butt, and I thought they were super kitschy-cute.

But I just discovered some instructions for t-shirt panties with images that seem to have turned out better than mine, so I think I'll give it another go sometime soon.

I also saw a post on a message board where someone made some super cute panties for herself out of stretch jersey. They aren't hemmed and don't involve elastic so how much more simple could you want home-made panties to be. Pretty cool, huh?

  1. Studies claim that good-looking undies enhance women's self-esteem. These panties are just too cute, and I'm pretty sure my girl will love them. The one with the lightning bolt is just adorable.
